Bedrooms at the Stag at Stow are located in the original Inn, our “Rooms at the Inn”, and in the adjoining Georgian town house, our “Rooms at the Lodge”
Rooms at the Lodge
Having been redeveloped from the ground up, the owners were able to create thirteen beautiful new bedrooms, offering huge suites, very large double rooms, and not forgetting one small, quirky bedroom at the top of the Lodge. The suites and large rooms all feature super king sized beds, large bathrooms, all with walk in showers, and both suites and one large room also feature free standing baths in the bedroom. Wonderfully high ceilings add to the sense of space and charm. Rooms at the Inn
The nine rooms at the Inn offer a wide range of choices, from cozy doubles with standard double beds, comfortable rooms with king sized beds, and large rooms with free standing baths in the bedrooms and super king sized beds. Inn rooms offer great value in the stunning location of Stow on the Wold. All of the rooms at the Inn have been sympathetically refurbished in 2023, echoing the use of reclaimed timber, timeless design and wonderful furniture used throughout the bar, restaurant and Lodge. Rooms at the Lodge
The Stag at Stow offers superior Cotswold accommodation across 13 elegant rooms in a wonderfully restored Georgian town house. Each bedroom has been individually decorated, and has its own bathroom and/or shower room. Rooms situated in the Lodge House are larger for those that want a little more space. (A continental breakfast is included in all our room rates, with chargeable extras available from the kitchen daily, please see our eat and drink tab for our current breakfast menu.)
TYPICAL ROOM FEATURES: Super king-sized bed, large en-suite bathrooms, complimentary high-speed wi-fi, bedside USB charging sockets, 40-inch Philips LED HDTV, tea and coffee making facilities, luxury bed linen, open “industrial design” wardrobes and desks/tables.

The Stag at Stow offers superior Cotswold accommodation across 9 elegant rooms in a wonderfully restored Coaching Inn. Each bedroom has been individually decorated, and has its own bathroom and/or shower room. Having plied its trade as an Inn for over two hundred years, these rooms are steeped in history, and offer the highest standard of accommodation.
